President's Message

Welcome to the Wisconsin Organization of Mothers of Twins Clubs Website. Our organization has now been in existence for 40 years. We have approximately 235 members. You can “click” onto Member Clubs to see where we are all located. We have two meetings per year that are hostessed by our local clubs. One is in spring that is a one day event with a luncheon and speakers and/or workshops. The other is the annual convention held in fall. This event usually starts on Friday evening with a mixer to get to know everyone and the Annual Meeting on Saturday followed by a luncheon, speakers / workshops, dinner and dance. Check out our Coming Events to learn more about these events and their locations. We also publish a newsletter Wisconsin Twin News four times a year (which can be viewed on this web-site). Keep an eye out for this year’s newsletters because we have lots of new and exciting items that will be added to our issues. Take a little time and scroll through the many items on our website to see what we are all about.

If you are viewing this website as a visitor, please consider joining one of our clubs. The coming together of mothers/parents of ‘twins and more’ is a very fulfilling experience. We are special parents with different problems than you would find in a home with all single born children. When we get together, we share our good days and bad with each other in the hope that our knowledge will help another parent who may experience the same thing sometime. When you hear the phrase “Friendship thru Twinship” it really is true. We share a special bond with each other. And it is a good feeling to have friends across the state that we have met through our association with this state organization.

We are hoping that many mothers of multiples across the State of Wisconsin and the country will find our website helpful and a good informational tool. We have been developing our website to be more comprehensive but we welcome input from all those that log on and visit with us. Please feel free to post your comments on our Message Board.
