CLUB AWARDS
The Wisconsin Organization of Mothers of Twins Clubs recognizes club achievements each year at our annual Fall Convention. Many of our clubs do wonderful projects each year to benefit their members and their communities. It is always exciting to learn just how much motivated mothers can accomplish!

The Community Service Award may include a variety of service or philanthropic projects. Such as: raising money to give to a charity, collecting items to donate to a charity, community rummage sales, working with community agencies, roadside garbage clean-up, community support groups, etc.
The Twin Education Award can include such things as hosting guest speakers at your meetings, providing informational twin bedrest baskets at your local hospital, putting twin articles in your club newsletter, participating in research projects, having a booth at local baby fairs, writing informational pamphlets for twin parents, providing material for media or websites, etc.
The Family Involvement award also can include a wide variety of club projects. It may be something like a club family camping trip, club parties, grandparents day, a project to include fathers, playgroups, trip to the zoo, etc.
The fourth award given out does not require any application. The Membership Award is given to the club with the largest percentage of increase from the number of paid members to the number at the end of this year, based on records of the State Treasurer.
The applications will be due to me no later that September 1, 2006. Applications will be judged, and awards will be presented at the October Convention. Award winners will receive a pin to display on their club banner.
Also, articles will be then be written in each newsletter for the upcoming year featuring a winning project. As well as some highlights from other applications that were submitted in that category.
